Duehr and Fagemo bring their own NHL experience to the Jets, while Clague adds depth to the defensive lineup. Poulter, despite being a rookie, has shown promise in his previous AHL season, posting solid statistics. The Jets aim to enhance their competitiveness as they navigate the offseason.

Walker Duehr has been placed on waivers by the San Jose Sharks, marking his second stint on the list this season after previously being waived by the Calgary Flames. During his brief tenure with the Sharks, Duehr managed to score two goals in just eight games. This move coincides with Nikolai Kovalenko's potential return from injured reserve, as he has rejoined the team on its road trip to Montreal.

The Sharks are facing a critical time as the NHL trade deadline approaches on March 7, and teams now have 24 hours to claim Duehr. If he goes unclaimed, Duehr will likely head to the AHL to play for the San Jose Barracuda. The Sharks hope to see improved performances from their younger players as they look towards next season.
